Brandweerkazerne De Cocksdorp

Brandweerkazerne De Cocksdorp is the volunteer fire station serving the northern part of Texel, staffed by 13 dedicated firefighters. The team handles emergencies including fires, rescues of people and animals, and specialised incidents like nature fires, small aviation events, and ship fires. They work closely with the KNRM and train every Monday evening to maintain their skills. As one of two stations on the island, they play a vital role in managing incidents independently before additional support arrives from Den Helder.
