Restaurant Opduin

Nestled in the dunes of De Koog on Texel, Restaurant Opduin serves Wadden gastronomy with a focus on local, sustainable ingredients from Texel and the wider Wadden region. When local products aren’t available, they choose organic and sustainable alternatives. The restaurant offers an extensive lunch and dinner menu, plus a children’s menu, all made with fresh, seasonal ingredients.

The dog-free restaurant seats 70 guests, while the bar welcomes diners with pets, serving a simple two-course menu. In winter, enjoy the serre by the fireplace, or relax on the dune terrace in summer, where pheasants roam nearby. The bar also serves Texel beer and cocktails. Reservations are recommended.
