Schapenboet van Lap Route Wambinghe is one of the historic sheep shelters preserved by Agrarische Natuur- en Landschapsvereniging De Lieuw on Texel. This collective of 250 farmers and citizens manages 8,000 hectares of agricultural land, focusing on nature conservation, weidevogel protection, and cultural landscape elements like tuunwallen and schapenboeten.

Explore ten walking trails through Texel’s farmland, where information panels explain the area’s history and agrarische nature. De Lieuw also coordinates the Lerend Netwerk Texel, supporting farmers in nature-inclusive agriculture. Visitors who wish to contribute can become donors for €25 per year.
