Kaaswinkel Wezenspyk

For over 40 years, Kaasboerderij Wezenspyk has crafted artisanal Texel cheese, starting with the classic Texelse Boerenkaas in 1981. This family-run farm on Texel now produces sheep’s, cow’s, and goat’s cheese entirely by hand, with over 30 varieties available in their on-site shop. Visitors can explore the cheese dairy and ageing cellar, where more than 25 tonnes of cheese mature—turned daily at first, then weekly as they develop. The shop also stocks other Texel specialities, including local lamb, while displays and videos explain the craftsmanship behind each wheel.
