Galerie 56 on Texel invites you to discover the centuries-old craft of leatherworking, rooted in North American cowboy and Indigenous traditions. This Den Burg workshop showcases hand-tooled leather accessories—including bags, wallets, and keychains—some crafted from 300-year-old shipwreck leather preserved in the Wadden Sea. Prices for handmade leather goods range from €75 to €250.

Visitors can explore ceramics by local artists Irene Maas, Duwie Bakker, and Irene van der Velde or join beginner (€80, including materials) or advanced (€80, excluding materials) leatherworking courses.
