Watersportvereniging Texel

Watersportvereniging Texel unites around 400 members passionate about watersports on Texel, adjacent to the Wadden Sea UNESCO World Heritage site. The association welcomes sailors, motorboat users, divers, anglers, and kayakers, each organising their own activities. Facilities include the clubhouse De Kajuit, the canoe building Het Ruim with storage and rinsing facilities for Optimist dinghies, Leukothea training boats, and sea kayaks, plus the storage area 't Landje. In summer, temporary berths in the WSV harbour are rented to visiting boats, managed by the harbour masters. A 2025 trial allows non-members to rent seasonal boxes if available.
