Natuur Goed Voedselbos

Natuur Goed Voedselbos is an edible nature garden and food forest on Texel, where a park-like landscape showcases familiar edible trees, shrubs, and herbs. Rooted in 30 years of horticultural expertise, this garden demonstrates permaculture and food forest principles, focusing on biodiversity, water management, and pollinator-friendly design.

From 1 May to 17 October, visitors can explore the garden on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 14:00 to 17:00. Join workshops like "tea from nature" or "lunch from nature," where you harvest and prepare your own meal—reservations recommended. The on-site shop offers organic jam, honey, plants, seeds, and seasonal vegetables, all grown in the garden. Groups of ten or more can arrange custom visits.
