Amsing Recycling ♻

Texel’s dedicated recycling centre, Amsing Recycling, transforms waste into reusable materials right on the island. Here, paper, cardboard, plastic, polystyrene foam, and metals are collected, sorted, and processed—all free of charge for drop-offs. Businesses and residents can request containers for regular collection, with paper pickups on Mondays and Thursdays, and plastic rounds on Wednesdays (plus Fridays in summer). Old iron can also be collected from homes upon request. During summer, recycling containers are placed on beaches to keep Texel clean.

Open Monday to Friday 08:00-17:30 and Saturday 08:00-12:30, the centre welcomes visitors for drop-offs or to learn about sustainable waste management. For container requests or details on accepted materials, visit the website or contact Amsing Recycling directly.
