Echte Bakker Timmer

Echte Bakker Timmer is the largest bakery on Texel, with five shops, four tearooms, and a central bakery. Their artisanal products—oven-fresh bread, pastries, and sandwiches—are made daily using Texel ingredients like local grain, fruit, meat, and cheese. The bakery holds the Echte Bakkersgilde quality mark, awarded only to those meeting strict craft standards.

Try Texel specialities such as the Hoornderring, Texelse speculaas, or the Tesselse Buteriggel, a cream-filled pastry shaped like a dune. Their award-winning cakes, island-inspired sandwiches, and handcrafted ice cream (made with Texel milk) are available in Den Burg and Oudeschild. Custom celebration cakes can also be ordered.
